Founded by sisters-in-law Heidi Lachapelle and Katie Judkins in 2017, Heidi Lachapelle Interiors is a full-service interior design firm located in Portland, Maine. Blending modern and traditional sensibilities, we create spaces that strike a balance between comfortable and curated, sophisticated and livable.
We pride ourselves on collaborative partnership with architects, builders and landscape designers to ensure that the entire home, from the inside out, feels cohesive and carefully considered.
We think of ourselves as the translators of our client’s vision, striving for each project to be a clear reflection of their unique style brought to life through our lens. We believe a well-designed home should be a beautiful foundation for everyday life that lives on effortlessly once we’ve finished our work.
ABOUT HEIDI
With a Maine upbringing that included frequent antiquing alongside her mother and an early passion for art, Heidi has had a lifelong appreciation for visual balance and beauty. After earning a studio art degree, she worked as a corporate merchandising lead, designing stores around the country. Residential interior design was a natural next step, allowing Heidi to apply her artistic skills to create narrative concepts in more personal settings.
